Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Traders Rebound™ Money Management Calculator (TRMMC) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short and honest.

What we collect

  • Your account. When you register and sign in we store your name, email address, and a securely hashed password, so we can give you access to your dashboard.
  • What you enter in the calculator. You can use the calculator without an account. The values you enter — balances, risk settings, and pip sequences — are sent to our own server to run the calculation; no other company receives them. If you are not signed in, nothing you enter is saved, and the calculator starts fresh on each visit. If you are signed in, we store the inputs you last used (so they follow you between visits and devices), a history of your calculations (the settings used and the summary results), and any dashboard defaults you save.
  • Usage analytics and ad measurement (only with your consent). If you accept the consent banner or switch PostHog on below, we use PostHog to understand how the calculator is used — pages and features used, and general device, browser, and approximate-location (from IP) information. If you are signed in, PostHog links this to your account ID, not to your name or email address. We also use Google Analytics to measure visits, and Google Ads to measure whether a visit from one of our ads leads to a completed comparison. Google may process your IP address, browser and device information, the page address, and ad click identifiers. We do not send your calculator inputs, results, name, or email address to Google. Nothing is loaded, captured, or stored until you accept in the consent banner or switch that service on below; decline, or leave a switch off, and that service is not loaded.
  • Session recordings (only with your consent, and masked). Analytics may include session replay to see how the interface is used. The values you enter and your results are masked — your trade figures, the summary verdict, and the results tables are never recorded.
  • Basic technical data. Like most services, our host logs standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

  • To run the calculator and show you your results.
  • To create and secure your account and sign you in.
  • To send account and service emails (such as email confirmation and password reset) and tips about using the calculator.
  • Only if you opt in: educational posts, product updates, TRMMS release and roadmap news, and, separately, TRMM promotions. Both boxes are ticked on the registration form; untick either one if you do not want those emails.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.
  • With your consent, to understand how the calculator is used so we can make it better, and to measure how well our own ads work.

We do not sell your information. We use Google Ads only to measure our own ads, with your consent; we do not build advertising audiences or personalize ads from your use of the calculator.

Who processes it

We rely on a small number of service providers, who process data on our behalf under their own terms:

Use the switches to turn each optional service on or off. Hosting and the support chat are required to run the calculator, so they stay on. Turning a service off stops it from that moment.

Hosting and database — serves the app, runs your calculations on our own server, and stores your account, saved settings, and calculation history.
PostHog — usage analytics and masked session replay, only if you consent.
Google Analytics and Google Ads — visit measurement and ad conversion measurement, only if you consent. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
In-app support chat — handles the messages you send through the chat widget.
Email provider (Brevo) — delivers our account and service emails and maintains our contact list.
Account emails (confirmation, password reset) are always sent.
Sign in to choose which optional emails you get.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, saved settings, and calculation history for as long as your account is active, and analytics data no longer than necessary. You can ask us to delete your account and the data we hold about you at any time.

Your choices

  • Access, correct, or delete your account and the data we hold about you.
  • Decline analytics and ad measurement in the consent banner, switch PostHog or Google on or off above, or change your choice at any time with Privacy choices at the bottom of the page. Declining does not stop you from using the calculator. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track” signal, we treat it as a decline and load none of these services.
  • Choose which optional emails you get (updates & education, TRMM promotions) at registration, with the email switches above when you are signed in, or any time in Settings → Account → Email Preferences, or use the unsubscribe link in any of those emails.
